Job Description
The Invo-Progressus is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Push IN Support Teacher to join our elementary school charter team in Philadelphia. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to closing achievement gaps and supporting students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and strong case management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AS students in urban settings, a deep understanding of special education compliance, and a belief in every student's potential to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
PUSH IN Instruction & IEP Implementation support General Education Teacher
- Develop and deliver standards-aligned lessons, differentiated to meet students’ IEP goals and diverse learning needs.
- Review, implement, and monitor IEPs—adjusting instruction and accommodations to support student progress.
- Use data-driven assessments to inform instructional modifications and track student outcomes.
Collaboration & Professionalism
- Co-plan and co-teach alongside general education teachers, integrating special education best practices.
- Communicate regularly with general educators, related service providers, and parents to ensure cohesive supports.
- Attend a range of staff meetings, professional development sessions, and student-family events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, or related field.
- PA certification in Special Education preferred or ability to emergency certify.
- Experience working with ASD students with in an urban or charter school setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of individualized instruction, accommodations, and intervention strategies.
- Effective classroom management skills paired with a commitment to equity and inclusive practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and comfort with technology for instruction and documentation.
