Certified/Licensed Paraprofessional - Full Time

We’re seeking talented, full-time Certified Paraprofessional to join our school-based services team in Woonsocket, RI.
Professional License Requirements:
Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.
- All paraprofessionals are required to have a Para Certificate, regardless of their education level. Candidates with fewer than 48 college credits (minimum requirement: high school diploma) must provide proof of passing the ParaPro exam.
- Experience working with school-age children with disabilities or medical needs
What to expect from this role:
- Provide instructional support to students under the direction of certified teachers
- Assist students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and math activities
- Support students with special needs by implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Facilitate small group or one-on-one instruction sessions
- Monitor and manage student behavior to maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other staff members to support student learning
- Participate in professional development and training sessions as required
