INVO is in need of a School PSY for a need in Princeton, NJ. The New Jersey-certified School Psychologist will work within the school system to support students' mental, emotional, and academic well-being. The responsibilities generally include:

1. Assessments and Evaluations: Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. This helps in identifying learning disabilities or emotional challenges that may require intervention.
2. Intervention Development: Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions for students with special needs or those struggling with emotional/behavioral issues.
3. Counseling Services: Providing individual or group counseling to help students manage stress, social challenges, or emotional difficulties.
4. Crisis Intervention: Offering crisis intervention services in cases of emergencies such as trauma, violence, or significant life changes affecting students.
5. Collaboration and Consultation: Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide recommendations and strategies for enhancing students' learning environments and ensuring their emotional health.
6. Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring that all interventions and evaluations comply with federal, state, and district regulations, including IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) guidelines​

Qualifications typically include a master's degree in school psychology, a valid NJ School Psychologist certification, and experience in educational settings.
