Job Description

The Invo-Progressus team is growing! We are currently seeking Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in providing behavior analysis services to students with diverse behavioral needs within the educational setting. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans, training programs for staff and parents, and consultation with educational teams to enhance the overall learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Functional Behavior Analysis:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify environmental factors influencing behavior.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and behavioral principles.
  1. Behavioral Consultation and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with school personnel, including teachers, administrators, and support staff, to design and implement behavior management strategies.
  • Provide guidance and training to educational teams on behavior analysis techniques, reinforcement strategies, and data collection methods.
  1. Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Collect and analyze data on student behavior to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions and modify intervention plans as needed to achieve behavioral goals.
  1. Staff and Parent Training:
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for school staff and parents/guardians on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans across settings.
  1. Crisis Intervention and Support:
  • Provide consultation and support during crisis situations involving students with behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with school teams to develop crisis management plans and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Prepare written reports summarizing assessment findings, progress, and recommendations for educational teams and families.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies in educational settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in school or educational settings with students with diverse behavioral needs.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Experience in training and coaching staff and parents on behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic educational environment.
