We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TODHH) to join our Assessment and IEP Evaluation Team in Philadelphia, PA. Key responsibilities include:



Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the educational needs of students with hearing impairments.
• Utilize various assessment tools and techniques to gather relevant data.

Collaboration and Consultation:

• Work with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Ensure IEPs include appropriate accommodations, modifications, and services.

IEP Development:

• Set specific, measurable goals for each student based on assessment data.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations and submit reports on time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate for Hearing Impaired PK-12.
• Experience in conducting educational assessments and evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using technology for assessments and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move about the school environment.
• Capability to lift and carry materials as needed.
