Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TODHH) – Evaluator Position - Full-time, Full-Year Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TODHH) to join our Assessment and IEP Evaluation Team in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time, 12-month position offers excellent pay, benefits, PTO, and paid holidays!
Key responsibilities include:
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the educational needs of students with hearing impairments.
- Utilize various assessment tools and techniques to gather relevant data.
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Work with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Ensure IEPs include appropriate accommodations, modifications, and services.
IEP Development:
- Set specific, measurable goals for each student based on assessment data.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Ensure compliance with special education regulations and submit reports on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate for Hearing Impaired PK-12.
- Experience in conducting educational assessments and evaluations.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using technology for assessments and documentation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move about the school environment.
- Capability to lift and carry materials as needed.
