Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed for Middle and High School Programs in Middletown and Townsend DE

INVO seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Middletown, DE. This position will serve middle and high school students, providing critical support for their communication, language, and speech development. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure students achieve their full academic and social potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in middle and high school students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ academic and social communication.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify speech and language delays or disorders.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Educate students, families, and staff on strategies to improve communication and language skills.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State of Delaware licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in middle and high school settings, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
