Job Description
Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Illinois Early Intervention Team in Rockford,IL. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must have:
- Master’s degree from ASHA accredited university
- Active state-level licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- CFs are welcome
- Illinois Early Intervention Credential (or obtain during onboarding)
- Evaluator Credential is a plus but not required
- Child Abuse Clearance
- Criminal Background Check
- Fingerprinting
- Experience working with young children is a plus but not required
What to expect from this role?
- Provide intervention for infants and toddlers with developmental delays as well as parent/caregiver education in the areas of pre-speech skills (attention, sitting), functional play, motor imitation, expressive/verbal language development, receptive language development, and feeding/swallowing skills
- Serve as a member of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Team for infants and toddlers with speech and/or language concerns
- Provide support to families/caregivers to assist them in maximizing their child’s development, while respecting the diversity and culture of families and communities
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s IFSP plan
- Maintain appropriate records
- Perform other SLP duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
