To qualify, applicants must have:
- Master’s degree from ASHA accredited university
- Active state-level licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Child Abuse Clearance
- Criminal Background Check
- Fingerprinting
- Experience working with young children is a plus but not required
What to expect from this role?
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language and cognitive-communication disorders
- Implement SLP therapy treatment for preschool-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays
- Serve as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team for children with speech and/or language concerns
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
- Maintain appropriate records
- Perform other SLP duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
