Job Description

Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part-time Special Instructor (SI) to join our Early Intervention (EI) Team in Franklin/Fulton County. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.  
To qualify, applicants must have: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in EI, early childhood special ed, early childhood ed, child development, special ed, or family studies OR bachelor’s degree which includes 15 credit hours in the previously mentioned studies 
  • 1 year of full-time or full-time-equivalent experience working with preschool children with disabilities or a university-supervised student practicum/teaching experience with preschool children with disabilities 
  • Child Abuse Clearance 
  • Criminal Background Check 
  • Fingerprinting 
 What to expect from this role? 
  • Support and understand the social, emotional, and cognitive development of an infant/toddler
  • Assist in increasing a young child's learning opportunities within the child's daily routines to positively impact his/her growth
  • Collaborate with and coach infant/toddlers' caregivers to help develop age-appropriate skills and meet milestones
  • Serve as member of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) team
  • Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s IFSP plan  
  • Maintain appropriate records  
  • Perform other SI duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of certification 
  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
