Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree 
• Keen understanding of special education testing concepts and methods 
• Responsible for providing specialized instruction for students with special needs 
• Able to provide remediation of various types of learning disabilities 
• Able to provide consultation, resource information and materials regarding students with exceptional needs to parents 
• Personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for students 
• Collaborative minded professional with strong oral and written communication skills 
• Ability to work and build strong relationships with parents, teachers and school administrators 
• Experience working in schools 
• Completion of Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED Training or Certification.
• VDOE SPED certification or VDOE Provisional SPED license
