Invo Healthcare, the nation's leader in school-based mental health and special education services, is looking for a School Social Worker to join our Assessment and IEP Evaluation Team in Philadelphia, PA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Conduct comprehensive social-emotional assessments for students referred for special education services.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to explain assessment results and recommendations.
  • Engage with community organizations and mental health providers to coordinate services and supports for students and families.
  • Provide resources and support to families to help them navigate the special education process and access community services.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner and adheres to district policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, social services, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania license as a social worker.
  • Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in using technology for assessments and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move about the school environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.
