Registered Nurse (RN), School-Based
Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented Registered Nurse to join our school-based services team in Carmichael, CA. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have active state-level licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Have active school-nurse certification
- Have experience working in schools or with children is required
- Have current knowledge and skill in administration of medication in accordance with state law
- Demonstrate safe nursing care, reflecting the philosophy, purpose and standard of current law
What to expect from this role?
- Arranging for special tests, examinations, and immunization programs
- Maintaining comprehensive health records for each student
- Assisting in the interpretation of health needs to students, parents, and teachers; assisting families in the use of community health resources.
- Planning and organization of school health programs
- Caring for emergency illnesses and injuries
- Maintaining school nursing services records
- Managing chronic health conditions
- Fulfilling any other school nurse needs that arise
