Requirements 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• PA state license
• CPR and first aid certified and have capability to administer first aid when needed
• Current knowledge and skill in administration of medication in accordance with state law
• Ability to adjust to varied situations, demands, and new health issues
• Current knowledge and skill in administration of medication in accordance with state law
• Ability to demonstrate safe nursing care, reflecting the philosophy, purpose and standard of current law
• Ability to demonstrate adequate knowledge of both normal and abnormal anatomy, physiology, psycho/social and disease entities
• Ability to work under pressure and be entrusted with confidential and sensitive information
• Work cooperatively with administrators, other school nurses, volunteers, staff members and the community in selected health services activities
