Job Description
INVO currently has a part-time position for a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) as part of their Child Study Team in Highland Park, NJ. This role focuses on assessing students' learning challenges and providing recommendations for effective support. Key responsibilities typically include conducting educational evaluations, consulting with educators and parents, creating individualized educational programs (IEPs), and using assessment data to help tailor instructional strategies to meet student needs.
The position requires a valid NJ LDTC certification and experience in special education or a related field is often preferred. Familiarity with best practices in teaching strategies, data analysis, and educational technology, as well as strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators, are essential for success in this role
