Key Responsibilities:


Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Perform detailed psychological evaluations for special education referrals.
  • Use various assessment tools to identify cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Provide detailed, actionable reports based on assessment data.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Partner with parents and professionals to ensure a thorough evaluation process.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss findings and intervention strategies.

IEP Development:

  • Work with educators and parents to create individualized education plans tailored to each student.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Ensure compliance with special education regulations and submit timely reports.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited program.
  • Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate as a School Psychologist.
  • Two years of experience in child psychology.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency with technology for assessments and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move around the school and handle materials as needed.
