To qualify, applicants must have:
- Active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- A master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
- Child Abuse Clearance
- Criminal Background Check
- Fingerprinting
- Experience working with young children is a plus but not required
What to expect from this role?
- Evaluate and treat disorders and delays that affect child’s ability to perform daily activities and reach their goals
- Develop/improve child’s ability to independently perform tasks
- Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for preschool-aged children with occupational therapy concerns
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
- Maintain appropriate records
- Perform other OT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
