Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part-time Occupational Therapist to join our Illinois Early Intervention Team in Peoria,IL . Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.  

To qualify, applicants must have: 

• Active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist 
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university 
• Ilinois Early Intervention Credential (or obtain during onboarding) 
• Child Abuse Clearance 
• Criminal Background Check 
• Fingerprinting 
• Experience working with young children is a plus but not required 

What to expect from this role? 

• Provide intervention and support for children and their caregivers with the development of fine motor skills such as reaching and grasping objects and work at improving self-help skills such as feeding, dressing and oral-motor development. 
• Identify and modify sensory and environmental barriers that limit participation in everyday routines and model activities for the caregiver to support sensory, motor, and behavioral needs. 
• Provide education and support to families/caregivers to assist them in maximizing their child’s development, while respecting the diversity and culture of families and communities 
• Serve as member of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) team for infants and toddlers with occupational therapy concerns 
• Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s IFSP plan 
• Maintain appropriate records 
• Perform other OT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification 
• Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
