Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), School-Based
Invo Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our school-based services in Grass Valley, CA. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
· Have active State licensure or ability to obtain required licensure
· Experience working in schools is required
· Provide nursing care and implement first aid measures for students as needed and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned
· Administer daily and as-needed medications and nursing care procedures prescribed by the student’s physician and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned
· Initiate emergency procedures for students and staff as needed and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned
· Follow procedures and protocols for suspected cases of child abuse and neglect
· Record immunizations, health finding, and other relevant health data and maintain appropriate records
· Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
· Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
· Perform other LVN duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
