Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), School-Based
Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our school-based services team in the Rock Point, AZ area. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold a master’s degree in Counseling
- Have active state-level licensure as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- Have experience providing services in schools or with children is a plus but not required
What to expect from this role?
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Apply psychological principles, methodology, and techniques designed to modify behavior
- Perform crisis evaluation and behavioral intervention as needed
- Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
- Maintain appropriate records
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of an effective treatment plan based on the individual’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
- Perform other LPC duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
