Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), School-based
Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our school-based services team in Manteca, CA. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Have active state-level licensure as an LMFT
- Have experience providing therapy with pediatric or school-aged children is required
What to expect from this role?
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Perform crisis evaluation and behavioral intervention
- Provide comprehensive behavioral health screenings and assessments of students as appropriate
- Apply psychological principles, methodology, and techniques designed to modify behavior
- Maintain appropriate records
- Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of an effective treatment plan based on the individuals Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
- Perform other LMFT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
