Your Role
As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and services in school settings, helping students achieve their best social and academic outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting group and individual counseling considering family history, socio-economic, and cultural differences.
- Observing students in various school environments and conducting interviews as needed.
- Evaluating social and academic adjustments and developing tailored programs with school personnel.
- Collaborating effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure student success.
- Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
- Appropriate professional licensure.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience with IEPs and meetings is preferred.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
