Your Role

As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and services in school settings, helping students achieve their best social and academic outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting group and individual counseling considering family history, socio-economic, and cultural differences.
• Observing students in various school environments and conducting interviews as needed.
• Evaluating social and academic adjustments and developing tailored programs with school personnel.
• Collaborating effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure student success.
• Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Appropriate professional licensure.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with IEPs and meetings is preferred.
• Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
