Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credentialled School Counselor
Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, full-time PPS Credentialled School Counselor to join our school-based services team in Nevada City, CA. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold a master’s degree in School Counseling
- Have active state-level Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling
- Have experience working with pediatric or school-aged children preferred but not required
What to expect from this role?
- Proficient in educational remediation strategies and individual counseling techniques.
- Follow Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to reach children’s short term and long term goals
- Complete and maintain session notes, progress reports, annuals, and billing entries as required
- Collaborate with other therapists, teachers, and parents on intervention strategies
- Administer exercises, technology, and rating scales to help child improve in the school environment
- Help children integrate with play/ recess and other social school activities
- Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
