Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs): Assist with developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), implementing them effectively, and training school staff to ensure successful implementation.
- Student Observations: Perform in-depth observations to assess student behavior, skills, and progress, ensuring the BIP is tailored to individual needs.
- Plan Development and Reporting: Create FBAs, BIPs, monthly progress reports, and skills assessment reports to track student growth and outcomes.
- Collaborative Consultation: Lead on-site meetings and training sessions with school staff and other service providers to ensure cohesive care.
- Data Analysis: Manage data entry, graphing, and reporting to ensure all interventions are data-driven and progress is tracked efficiently.
- Communication: Conduct phone conferences with school personnel, parents, and service providers to coordinate and update care plans.
- Staff Training: Train school staff using integrity data sheets and other tools to ensure proper implementation of intervention strategies.
- Ethical Practice: Ensure all evaluations and services are conducted only after gaining parental consent, following proper procedures and referrals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s Degree in behavior analysis, education, human services, or a related field.
- BCBA® certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Experience working in school programs or with pediatric populations is preferred.
