Great careers begin with great opportunities! The Invo-Progressus team is currently searching for a part-time Bilingual (Spanish) School Psychologist to conduct psychoeducational evaluations in Bridgeton, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
- Psychoeducational Evaluations:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services.
- Utilize culturally and linguistically appropriate tools and methods to assess bilingual students.
- Student Support:
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Provide counseling services to students as needed.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in child study team meetings and provide expert guidance on interventions and evaluations.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all evaluations and services meet state and federal regulations.
- Prepare detailed, professional reports in English and Spanish, as required.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current with best practices, research, and regulations in school psychology and bilingual education.
- Provide training and support to staff on culturally responsive practices.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Valid New Jersey School Psychologist certification.
- Experience:
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, particularly for bilingual students.
- Familiarity with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of IDEA, NJ state special education regulations, and relevant assessment tools.
- Commitment to equity and inclusivity in education.
