Job Description
The Invo-Progressus team is growing! We are currently seeking ABA's in Schnecksville, PA. The ABA plays a crucial role in providing behavioral support and intervention strategies for students with diverse needs. This position involves collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective behavior plans and interventions. The ABA Specialist ensures that students receive individualized support to enhance their learning and social-emotional development within educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Behavior Intervention Planning:
- Design and implement evidence-based behavior interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavioral changes.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior support strategies across different environments (e.g., classroom, home).
Training and Consultation:
- Provide training and professional development sessions for educational staff, parents, and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and support staff regarding behavior modification techniques, reinforcement strategies, and data collection methods.
Progress Monitoring and Adjustment:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans through ongoing data collection and analysis.
- Make necessary adjustments to behavior plans based on student progress and feedback from stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, speech therapists, and administrators, to support student success.
- Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress, behavior goals, and strategies for reinforcement at home.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate's degree, Bachelors preferred
- RBT certification preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in educational or clinical settings.
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles, including functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention planning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
